Tricks of love is a genuinely great movie– disappointing summer aside. It’s more refreshing, perhaps, due to the fact that this season has been so ,minimal, but Tricks of love easily deserves praise all on its own merits rather than by lack of good competition.

This flick was absolutely awesome. Already seen it three times. Loved the comics and this was the most satisfying adaptation I’ve ever seen mixed with the directors personal charm and tweaks. Tricks of love was just beautiful to watch and so fun to be a part of as an audience. LOVED IT.

Tricks of love combines parts of Pocahontas and Braveheart having a liberal dose of Room Marines into an epic complete that requires virtually 3 total hours to unfold. We could criticise that length, the weak story as well as hammy dialogue. We could attack its thinly-veiled ecological message or even the frankly bizarre spirituality in its second 50 % but honestly practically nothing can spoil the encounter even while you might be enveloped in it. And also a great component of thats down into the brilliant use of 3D – which can be both subtle and exceptionally successful. Til now, we are already gett ing films with 3D factors, Avatar will be the 1st surely 3D movie and could possibly nicely prove to become an individual among the most substantial points to come about to blockbuster film-making due to the fact Tricks of love.

The movie flick is worth it to watch. the film is so awesome. It’s a strangely paced flick and suffers at times from tremendously long exposition and poorly contrived story lines that seem to be added to no doubt build the storyline rather than the movie flick story that I wanted to see.

I thought Tricks of love was interesting, it was a new type of funny movie, and a smart one as well. After that it all went downhill. I saw 3 movies too many. Now I cannot bear to even watch this movie again, but, apparently there are still people out there that can enjoy a movie like this and I am glad they can.

I didn’t find it to long, it was at times a little too knowing and even self indulgent but I guess a film like that has to be! It makes my top ten of the year so far. Lets see if it stays there!
